The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME) organised by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) is an annual computer-based examination organised for prospective undergraduates in Nigeria.
In 2018, over 1.6million students wrote the UTME across Nigeria. This is a 5% drop from the 1.7million who wrote the exam last year.
Imo (92,980), Oyo (86,695) & Osun (86,044) states had the most students registered for the examination.
